Holy Cross, by your exaltation you have invited the whole of humanity to discover meaning in daily tears and fears, agonies and abandonment. Help us to find meaning by gazing at you like the centurion when we go through the darkness of distress and disappointment, loneliness and let downs. We make this prayer through Jesus who put a stamp of meaning on our tears from the Cross. Amen
